Primary School (Grades 1-7)
Our Primary School program builds upon the solid foundation established in our Early Years program. We follow the Cambridge International Primary Curriculum, which fosters a love of learning and equips students with essential skills for academic and personal success.
Subjects offered in Primary School:
- Art and Design: Nurturing creativity and self-expression through various artistic mediums.
- Digital Literacy: Developing essential skills in navigating the digital world, including online safety, research, and communication (Grades 2-7).
- English: Building proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
- French: Introducing students to the French language and culture.
- Global Perspectives: Encouraging students to explore global issues, develop critical thinking skills, and understand different perspectives.
- Mathematics: Developing a solid foundation in mathematical concepts and critical thinking skills.
- Physical Education: Promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship through various physical activities.
- Sesotho: Developing language skills and cultural awareness in the local language.
- Science: Exploring the natural world through firsthand activities, experiments, and inquiry-based learning.
In Grade 7, students will take the Cambridge Primary Progression Tests, an internationally recognized assessment that provides valuable feedback on their learning progress and readiness for secondary school.
