As the new academic year begins, the teachers at Soofia International School are engaging in a workshop focused on the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a tool in education. During his opening remarks, the principal emphasized that this welcome is not just routine, but rather a commitment to better serve our students. He expressed excitement for the new educational approach that AI can offer.
The workshop’s first day was led by Mr Brad Keller from Keller Education who travelled from Cape Town, South Africa. Mr Brad highlighted the significance of incorporating AI into the education system, stating that AI is the future for today’s learners. He strongly argued that AI can enhance creativity, speed up processes, promote development, facilitate change, expand knowledge, and drive innovation. He emphasized that AI is the most effective approach to be integrated into teaching and learning.
Throughout the day, team-building activities were conducted to foster a sense of unity, collaboration, and teamwork. These activities reminded the participants of the principle that a system is made up of interconnected parts working together towards a common goal, and the success of the whole is influenced by the behaviour of each individual part.
